Spring Harvest from the Balasun Garden
Lightly oxidized, green-silver leaves consisting of a top bud and two barely unfolded young leaves. A golden infusion with a rich, beautifully layered, sweetly fruity flavor dominated by exotic flowers, papaya, Galia melon, and mandarin oranges.
How to prepare Darjeeling Balasun
Use 5 grams of tea leaves for 0.5 litre of boiling water cooled to 85-90 °C, steep for 2–3 minutes. Feel free to experiment with steeping time, water temperature, and the amount of tea leaves. You can also read our articles on tea preparation and water quality.
Macerate
Tea is excellent also as macerated in cold water. Put approx. 7 g of tea leaves into 1 l jug or bottle. Fill with cold water and let it steep overnight and you will have a delicious, cooling, and encouraging beverage in the morning!
